Weekly Portraits: A Celebration of Spring

Spring was about a week long here in Michigan, so maybe I should have called this a celebration of summer...or sprummer. Lol.

Yesterday, I finished my FIRST YEAR OF MEDICAL SCHOOL. Praise the Lord for His goodness for carrying ya girl through some thangs! I don't know how I could have handled all of the craziness that came my way during the past 10 months, but won't He do it?! I had the idea to shoot this series a while back, but it seemed so fitting to do it on my last day of school, and with my new Fujifilm XT2.

This is a celebration of the end of a season and the start of a new one. This is a celebration of living, to taking the next step, to moving forward regardless of the direction that life may try to take you, to enjoying each and every day, and to focusing on the blessings and opportunities we have to grow.
